Description
This 1949 Spartan Royal Mansion has been restored and customized. The trailer features the original layout with an aluminum wet-head bath and two twin beds. There are fresh water, black, and grey tanks, and an electric 6-gallon water heater. The trailer does not have a heater or air conditioning. Pocket doors close off the kitchen at both ends making 3 rooms, the dinette and front couch can be made into beds.
This trailer can be used as a Travel Trailer, Tiny House, A.D.U., or AirBB/VRBO income rental.
Before:
This trailer was found in a cornfield in Northern Wisconsin under some walnut trees. The trailer had been turned into a storage shed in the '70's.
After:
We dedicated no less than 1200 hours to bring this trailer back to life. The interior was gutted and the body was lifted, cabinets and paneling that could be saved were sanded and rebuilt, and others were completely rebuilt. Every window, door, and vent was resealed and a new belly pan was installed.
Reconstructing
Installation of the new floor after we cleaned the frame and body and painted the frame.
Observation Lounge
Standing in the front door and looking into the observation lounge. The chair is original to the trailer, the couch is a replica of the original. The coffee table is custom.
Built-in Vanity/Kitchen
Looking toward the back of the trailer through the kitchen.
Bar/Dinette
Custom cabinets are in place of where the heater once stood.
Bedroom
The bathroom door in the bedroom features a large mirror.
Bathroom
The original aluminum wet-head bathroom. New Dometic toilet.
Bedroom
The rear bedroom features the original layout, with two twin beds and a middle nightstand. The curved windows roll down like an old car with the chrome crank below them.
